Penryn Arts festival well underway 19-28 July 2013

The penryn Arts festival is well underway (19-28 July 2013) and what a treat. There has been so much effort put into this and it really shows. Expect to see loads of arts and crafts, music events, and the amazing Tee Rex Cinema Here at Earth and Water it was a pleasure to hold meetings for the lead up and arranging of the festival. The event so far has brought the community together in a way that we never expected. This is surely and event to stay for years to come and we would like to thank everybody who made this happen. Pop into Earth and Water to see the amazing new art from
Dulcie Curtis (pictured below) and pick up a timetable.

Earth and Water now!

For those of you new to the blog, or those who are not but have not been to the shop, here is an up to date image of Earth and Water in Penryn. I have recently updated the colours and added new graphics, both to the window and where windows would have been. There will be new graphics being added soon.... Now the shop is established I feel it would be fine to replace the Health food and Delicatessen sign with the shops real name Earth and Water.

Earth and Water in the 19th century

Fantastic Image of our store back in the 'good old days' at one time Penryn was full of shops like this. This one in particular was a family owned business up to the 70's then is closed down, only to re-open in 2007 as Earth and Water. I just love this image I hope you all enjoy it as much as me. The image is on the wall in the shop if you want a closer look.
