Earth and Water Christmas hampers

December has arrived but the sales have not. Last year we seemed to be doing more business, on the plus side the Christmas hampers are doing well. We have had lots of interest and have decided that they will be offered all year-round. Earth and water health food and delicatessen is a growing company and we are looking to expand vastly over the next 12 months. Organic food is still selling very well and Cornish produce is also very popular, these are 2 areas that we are going to push further into. Website still not up but looking for early next year, these things take time if you want them done properly.........

Earth and Water website

The Earth and Water website development is moving forward. We are looking for equipment that will help to create a leading site in our field, I am really confident that it is going to make a real name for itself in the food market. Clever marketing and networking is going to be key in developing the Earth and Water brand into a household name.We are aiming for February of next year to launch the site properly I will keep you all posted on the progress.

Earth and Water Organic Ale

At Earth and Water We have been producing our Organic ale for nearly six months and it has been a fantastic success. We currently only offer 2 different Organic ales. Organic Pale Ale which is a light ale with a hint of ginger and an Organic dark ale which has a rich chocolate palette. We currently only stock them in the only Earth and Water outlet in Penryn Cornwall, however the sales have been somewhat amazing compared to total sale of ales in the store, out selling the larger brands like skinners brewery and Sharpers brewery who are both well know Cornish brewers.

Earth and water Hampers

Just sold our first hamper of the Christmas season. Always a real pleasure to make up hampers. It feels like you are really giving a present that has had lots of thought and love put into it, I feel this is also very clear for the person who is receiving the gift. Hampers are a very thoughtful gift to give to somebody.

Business In General

Well the Business has been going pretty well considering it is tough times for all. I have been very absent for the past 10 months due to changes at work, and trying to bring up a small family. The shop has been going for nearly 2 years and it does get easier. Got some great products of our own and the Website is much closer to being finished. The next big decision is how to expand, the coffee industry is obviously recession proof, and this article I found the other day is very encouraging. The Uk has the largest number of Coffee shop in europe and they are soon to rise!!! maybe a section of our shop could stand alone in another town, adding number 2 to the business..3 if you include the website.

Back Again

Seems I have not been here for a While, running a business and working full time is tough to say the least. I have decided that what is needed is a business partner, so that is what I am in the process of doing. World watch out for Earth and Water.

Organic Wine a clear winner all round...

Organic wine is a clear winner at earth and water...i can't get enough of the stuff, credit crunch I am not so sure it seems that if you offer the right product then you go unaffected. The main reason i feel is it is a more superior product, we have customers say that they can drink a whole bottle of the stuff and wake up in the morning completely hangover free...and it's true it works for me too.

Early Morning

Another early morning this morning 5:30 start again. Sorting out stock, but no problem as it is always pleasant to be deciding on what stock to order as there are so many great products. New this week we have capers, roskilly's jams (fantastic Cornish producer of ice cream, condiments and milk from their own herd of Jersey Cow's, a great place to visit with the family in summer time!) Organic pasties, these really are very different from the run of the mill pasty's that are available in every single Cornish town or village (I will do a blog on them soon, as they are a great business) Also ordered James white juices, my mouth is watering just thinking about these, Organic drinks at there best, again a great company to deal with. I am sure you are starting to get an understanding of the people we deal with and like dealing with. We are also trying out there new products that launched the end of last year. The Manic Organic range, We will let you know what we think......

Website

The new website is due to launch in about a months time, at the moment we currently only have a holding page so it is difficult to find us. The much anticipated site will be full e-commerce selling a wide variety of healthy speciality foods including a range of our own branded Earth and Water products. We have been very careful about the ingredients we use, as our brand is very important to us. our first product to arrive is our own handmade chocolate bars coming in four great flavours. I will post some pictures and details later in the week.

Olive oil

Don't you just love Olive oil? we are going to be stocking a new range of fantastic greek olive oils, we have decided to go with their Organic range of oils as a huge selection of our products are organic so it would only be right. These particular oils have won a great taste award and we can't wait for them to arrive. Watch this space....
